Teaching Methodology

IES Public School believes in the holistic development of students and strives to bring about a balance between the fast growing technical changes and pedagogies and our rich traditional base rooted in our culture and values.

Our methodology aims to develop Academic knowledge with essential Life Skills to enable our young learners to benefit from our specialized support and the expertise of qualified, trained teaching staff.

The students are offered a wide range of scholastic, sports and cultural experiences through Inter school, State, National and International exposure. Our methodology promotes active Hands on learning to enable learning based on comprehension and analysis leading them to become life-long learners.

Personality Development

Personality development equips students with the skills they need to succeed in future academic, career, and personal pursuits. This involves nurturing students' social, emotional, and interpersonal skills alongside academic learning.

We, at IES, provide an all round holistic growth of our students through activities and opportunities like Public speaking, Collaborative projects and character building initiatives that aim at developing communication, leadership, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence in all our students.

Students are encouraged to share their ideas and experiences with their peers and under the guidance of faculties in a lively and cheerful ambience. Vocabulary words are given regularly and students are motivated to practice English conversation skills in the school premises to familiarize them with day to day words with the aim that they reach higher classes with proficiency in the language.

Sports

IES offers a variety of sporting activities aimed to improve the health and fitness of our students, nurture individual talents, whilst enabling them to enjoy the recreational benefits it offers.

Exposure to individual and team skills through competitive sports inculcates a sense of sportsmanship, a school-wide community spirit and a feeling of individual accomplishment amongst students.

Trust, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, respect for the opponent and most importantly, grace and stoicism, whether you win or lose, is at the heart of all sports lessons at IES.

Collaboration with Local Organizations

Community engagements of the school involve individuals or groups in a local community coming together to address shared interests or concerns. This can include volunteering for community service projects, participating in neighbourhood events, attending events or joining community organizations.

1. Adoption of villages - The nearby village of Rafiqueganj, is adopted by IES Public School Sehore , wherein books, fruits and other necessities are provided by the students and children of the school time to time.
2. Peer teaching – Students from school visit the villages and teach the students spreading the light of education.
3. Visits - As a part of community service program the students are taken to orphanages and old age homes where they donate goodies and spend quality time with the inmates ensuring learning the life's lessons and gaining wisdom from their experiences.
4. Donation drives- Students donate money, grains, toiletries, medicines, books, old toys, clothes etc in these villages and adjoining areas.
5. Health Checkups- Frequent health check-up camps in Rafiqueganj and nearby villages, free medical advices to school support staff wards etc. are conducted on regular basis.
6. Tree Plantation Drive – As an effort to promote environmental awareness and conservation, the school conducts tree plantation drives and distributing saplings, thereby contributing to the environment.
7. The school also organizes workshops on environmental conservation in the city.

Both community engagements and social engagements play important roles in fostering a sense of belonging, contributing to personal growth, and building stronger communities. They provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others, share experiences, and make a positive impact in their local areas.
